Secretly complies with GDPR and fulfills all European data protection standards. It is also governed by Switzerland’s strict Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Unlike many U.S.-based services, Secretly is not subject to the CLOUD Act. As a business messaging solution, it helps EU organizations meet the requirements of NIS2, DORA, and CER. Comprehensive data security is ensured through dedicated servers hosted in an ISO 27001–certified data center in Zurich.

 End-to-End Encryption

Secretly app uses strong end-to-end encryption based on open-source technology to secure all communications. Unlike many messaging services, encryption extends beyond messages and calls to also protect profile images, group names, and group member lists. Encryption keys are stored only on devices.

Forget about surveillance and data collection. Enjoy complete anonymity and end-to-end encryption of every message.  Your secrets remain yours. Communicate with friends and family securely and privately, without data monitoring, metadata gathering, or any compromise.  No third party can access your correspondence. In response to requests from law enforcement or intelligence agencies, we cannot provide message content or encryption keys because we do not store them.
